Dr. Frank Ryan, for the past 15 years, has been the favorite plastic surgeon of the stars. He is the first choice for movie stars, rock stars, models, Playboy Playmates and politicians. But his celebrity practice is only half the story. In 1993, Dr. Ryan started the Bony Pony Ranch Foundation to support the dissolution of gangs by removing gang-related tattoos for free. Since that time, he has removed thousands of tattoos. Now the foundation also supports activities for youth groups, like the HerShe Group, to enjoy a good old fashion day in the “country.” While at the ranch the girls interact with horses, donkeys, buffalo, pigs, goats, alpacas, dogs, cats and an ostrich.
The highlight of the day for the girls was meeting Dr. Ryan’s invited guest, celebrity rapper/actress, EVE. She answered questions about her life, her choices, and her convictions about being a young rapper in a male-dominated industry. She shared with them her future and gave them the encouragement they needed to believe in themselves and that they deserved the opportunity to pursue a bright future of love, prosperity and happiness.
